Doug is a graduate of McMaster University and has called Hamilton’s Kirkendall neighborhood home for over 30 years, where he and his wife have raised three children. As active members of their community, Doug and his wife have enjoyed witnessing the evolution of Hamilton and enthusiastically take advantage of its multiple attributes (namely the exploding restaurant scene, the Niagara Escarpment, the academic choices, evolving bay front and the proximity to Toronto and Niagara).
Doug is most in his element when he is cooking and entertaining family and friends. In addition to a passion for travelling he also enjoys taking advantage of the many hiking and cycling trails throughout the area.
With a background in social work, to which he attributes his strength in communication and advocacy, Doug is persistently looking to achieve the most positive of outcomes. He brings experience and foresight to his approach and is known for listening to his clients’ needs. Quite simply, he is trusted.
