Typically fall is the second largest market, however with Covid-19 there haven’t been the peaks and valleys in prices or market activity that we normally see.
Getting ready to sell with the upcoming holidays of Halloween and Christmas can be tricky. Everyone has their own taste when it comes to their home, decorations, colours and ideas. Try to keep any decor as neutral as possible to avoid distractions or clutter from taking away from the natural beauty of your home. Remember, most buyers like to see a blank canvas to be able to envision their own design and taste.
When the lovely winter weather hits, be sure to keep your walkways clear for prospective buyers to have access to the front door and any patios or pathways around the home. Have some seasonal mats at the entrances for prospective buyers and their agents to place their shoes and boots when the weather gets mucky!
Keep in mind, it is still a great time to sell when there is such low home inventory and low interest rates. Call us for a plan of action to ensure we can navigate you through your fall and holiday sale!
