With the first month of 2022 under our belt we have seen some record pricing and a very competitive market.
Many waited to see what the latest lockdown may bring in pricing and are now finding themselves in competition with the number of multiple offers sometimes in the 20s and 30s. Clients often ask if this pricing is sustainable. Prices continue to rise and while we can’t tell the future, we do know that if you are on the selling end we have never witnessed such an advantageous time to sell. With the pandemic restrictions now easing, and society starting to get back to a pre-pandemic normal we are going to continue to see prices increase. Many factors are going to play into the housing market and we do know with immigration to Canada on the rise, a shortage of land to develop on, prices will continue to rise and we will see the Toronto market and Greater Golden Horseshoe market prices continuing to climb accordingly.
